English Final Exam Reminders



  1. Please come to the final exam on time and be ready to participate during the entire final exam time. (You must remain in class seated until the bell rings.)
  2. I recommend that you bring a pencil and eraser to your English Final exam.
  3. No cell phones or electronics may be used until every student has finished the final exam.
  4. If you finish early you may work on an independent quiet activity. (Remember that finals are being taken next door and near our classroom that may last all period. Students may be working in your class all period so plan ahead.)
  5. Please return your novel, Of Mice and Men, during library hours or with another final exam appointment. (We already had our return appointment and will not be leaving the classroom during the final exam.)

4/24 and 4/25  Homework: 1. Of Mice and Men Double-chunk extension (Due next class due to the limited time in class after the review) 2. Of Mice and Men chapter 1 plus 2 review (on top of packet) with all the chapter 3 work is due next class on the quiz day. The quiz is 20 questions and scantron. It is closed book and notes.  3. Last chance to submit (by midnight) your Unit 4 Revisions. Use turnitin.com and the revision section. EVEN (Midnight the 24th) ODD (Midnight the 25th) Chapter 4, 5 and 6 Handouts with Review were handed out in class today. Due today: page 165 "Key to Survival" notes from listening (6 minimum) Agenda: 1. Of Mice and Men chapters 1-3 Review (late page of packet) with mouse pic on back 2. Homework: Be sure your annotations are done so you can start your paragraph next class period. 1. Study for your Act IV Quiz next class (I recommend that you annotate as it is open book.) 2. Complete the practice workbook pages for Act IV if you have not already. I gave an extension on this. It was homework last class period. 3. Character charts and Drama Terms are due next Friday, March 16th (EVEN) classes. DATE CORRECTION 4. Your outside reading assignment is due March 22nd, 2018. Due today: Act IV Storyboard Turn in Act 3 (III) viewing handouts if you did not already. Be sure to turn in absent or late work. Agenda: 1.
