February 8th (Sub. Day) and February 9th, 2018

The Act I Quiz will be Monday, February 11th (EVEN) and Tuesday, February 12th (ODD) due to my substitute day on Thursday, February 8th, 2018. Bring all work for Act I (chart + workbook pages assigned from Act I + handouts+ annotation in your workbook) on the quiz day.

Please finish today's agenda for homework. I can assist you with writing if needed next class period at the end of the period or in tutorial.

Homework:
1. Study for your Act I quiz and have all items ready to turn in before the Quiz starts.
2.  Finish today's agenda.


Due today: Participation all period
Turn in your Perfect Mate paragraph to the sub. or me if done in class.

2.     Act II chart (Read Act II, scene i.) Do the chart and questions. Workbook pages 402 and 403
3.     Drama Terms (Do both sides of the first page except for iambic pentameter. You can try to do that one, but I can help you when I am back again.)
4.     Drama Terms (Unscramble.)
5.     Act II DVD (approximately 24 minutes)

English Final Exam Reminders

Please come to the final exam on time and be ready to participate during the entire final exam time. (You must remain in class seated until the bell rings.) I recommend that you bring a pencil and eraser to your English Final exam. No cell phones or electronics may be used until every student has finished the final exam. If you finish early you may work on an independent quiet activity. (Remember that finals are being taken next door and near our classroom that may last all period. Students may be working in your class all period so plan ahead.) Please return your novel, Of Mice and Men,  during library hours or with another final exam appointment. (We already had our return appointment and will not be leaving the classroom during the final exam.)

Review Of Mice and Men chapters 1-3 old quiz. 2. Of Mice and Men Quiz (All chapters) Scantron Open Novel 3. Grammar Packet Time (Make sure the first two practice sheets are completed.) 4. Work on your homework assignments. Get help by checking #3 on the "TMDG" packet in class.
