Reminder for Quarter Work Deadline (End of your class period the end of this week - unless you come to tutorial to submit work)



Homework:
  1. Book Review (Due next class period. This may be neatly handwritten or submitted through Google classroom. Due to limited time on the Chromebook carts to type I am accepting this handwritten with no penalty.
  2. Performance-Based Assessment (page 690) Expository Essay (Due in turnitin.com by the start of class on Friday the 20th for EVEN and Monday, the  23rd for ODD)
  3. "The Ugly Duckling" Comprehension and Text Questions are due in two class periods.

Agenda:
1. "Ithaka" Quiz (12 questions)
2. Log into Google classroom and then click on "The Ugly Duckling" to listen to and or read. Start your homework questions.
3. Register for turnitin.com. (See Google classroom for the class id and password.)
4. Work on your Book Review if you have extra time.

Homework: Be sure your annotations are done so you can start your paragraph next class period. 1. Study for your Act IV Quiz next class (I recommend that you annotate as it is open book.) 2. 4/24 and 4/25  Homework: 1. Of Mice and Men Double-chunk extension (Due next class due to the limited time in class after the review) 2. Of Mice and Men chapter 1 plus 2 review (on top of packet) with all the chapter 3 work is due next class on the quiz day. The quiz is 20 questions and scantron. It is closed book and notes.  3. Last chance to submit (by midnight) your Unit 4 Revisions. Use turnitin.com and the revision section. EVEN (Midnight the 24th) ODD (Midnight the 25th) Chapter 4, 5 and 6 Handouts with Review were handed out in class today.
