Homework:
1. Register for turnitin.com if you have not already. Codes are in Google classroom.

 2. Outside of class Performance Task Explanatory Essay (workbook page 690) is due in turnitin.com by Friday, October 20th.

 3. Do both sides of questions for "The Ugly Duckling".

 Due today:
 Book Review (Hard copy or Google classroom) 

 Agenda:
1. District Performance Task (Day 1 - You may start part 2 also and get one more class period to finish.) The second day in class will be Friday, October 20th (EVEN) and Monday, October 23rd (ODD) due to the evacuation drill on Thursday, October 19th.

 Next class you will be able to work on your page 690 performance task out of class essay and ask clarifying questions. I will also explain how to upload to turnit.com.

English Final Exam Reminders

Please come to the final exam on time and be ready to participate during the entire final exam time. (You must remain in class seated until the bell rings.) I recommend that you bring a pencil and eraser to your English Final exam. No cell phones or electronics may be used until every student has finished the final exam. If you finish early you may work on an independent quiet activity. (Remember that finals are being taken next door and near our classroom that may last all period. Students may be working in your class all period so plan ahead.) Please return your novel, Of Mice and Men,  during library hours or with another final exam appointment. (We already had our return appointment and will not be leaving the classroom during the final exam.)

Homework: "The Most Dangerous Game" Packet (Due next class.) 5/18 "The Most Dangerous Game" Map (Due in two classes.) 5/21 Novel Return: Next class (Meet in the classroom first to take attendance, make announcements and then go to the library as a class.)  Due today: Of Mice and Men Green packet + extra credit crossword puzzle (stapled to the backside) Agenda: 1. Review Of Mice and Men chapters 1-3 old quiz. 2. Of Mice and Men Quiz (All chapters) Scantron Open Novel 3. Grammar Packet Time (Make sure the first two practice sheets are completed.) 4. Work on your homework assignments. Get help by checking #3 on the "TMDG" packet in class.
