Bring an independent reading book (fiction) to next class period. I have some books in my classroom if you forget.
Homework:
1. Prepositional Phrases practice page 1 and 2 (A and B). Do both sides.
2. Evidence Log: Complete one log using the reading "Gone and Back Again". See me in class or tutorial for your story back, if needed. (Extension until two classes)
3. Finish Background notes and questions (not answered yet) from pages 552 and 559. (They will be due in two class periods. Get notes from Google classroom, classmates and or next class period.)
I will check off the Quickwrite next class period.
Agenda:
1. Warm-up: Write a minimum three steps to take to watch the eclipse. You may talk about your experience and personalize the steps.
2. Collaborate with your classmate(s) that have the same reading section from pages 552 and 559. Write two notes to share with classmates and a question not answered in the text.
3. Share out notes and question. Use your notebook or notebook paper to write notes and questions. Choose 5 to research next class period.
4. Independent Reading time and time to start homework if you finish notes early.
